Our research suggests that this painting may well be by
Miss Eliza Turck(1832 - 1890's) who was born in London of
German parents & after attending art school in London later
studied in Antwerp & spent time painting in Europe both
landscapes & architectural subjects.She exhibited at the
Royal Academy ,1871 International Exhibition etc.Both the
quality & the subject matter of this painting together with
the initials strongly suggest it to be by this talented female artist
